The residual heat indicator comes on when a cooking zone

is hot.

Warning! Risk of burns from residual heat!

Operating the appliance

When a cooking zone operates, it hums for a short

time. This is typical of all ceramic glass cooking

zones and does not show that the appliance operates in-

correctly.

The heat setting

To increase the heat setting turn the knob clockwise. To

decrease the heat setting turn the knob counter-clockwise.

To switch off turn the knob to the 0.

Switching the outer rings on and off

You can match the effective heating surface to the size of

the cookware.
